2005-2006 - A new group emerges

In late 2005, after talking about it for a long while, Lars Jelleryd and Daniel Strachal decided to start playing together again! Both of them had assembled an amount of new riffs and the long break had the motivation running high. A decision was made not to resurrect Lobotomy and the band has now been named Duelbarrel. They are currently writing and arranging songs, which hopefully will result in some kind of release in the time to come...

2000 - Lobotomy calls it quits

Lobotomy officially disbands.

2000 - The 5-song ep "Holy Shit" is released.

The last Lobotomy recording, the 5-song ep "Holy Shit" was released in 2000. The ep has 4 new songs:

  3. Sunblind
  4. Divination
  5. Bloodangel - frenzy sellout remix (a new mix of the song from "Born in Hell")

2000 - "Born in Hell" is available in the USA/Canada (through Metal Blade rec)

Lobotomy´s album "Born in Hell" is available through Metal Blade in USA/Canada since 2000.

The album includes 10 songs and carries the title "Born in Hell". Some songtitles are: "Fistful of demons", "Bloodangel", "Burden of sin" and "Dead". The songstructures are much like on "Kill" but with a heavier sound and a more massive production. This will blow your fucking brains out!!!
